Educational Philosophy

Objective
The overall goal of our program is to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. We offer a flexible schedule and developmentally appropriate programs that meet and enhance the individual needs of the diverse population of children we serve.

We offer a wide range of opportunities for children to learn through self-expression, self-discipline and hands-on experiences. We provide children with problem-solving experiences that facilitate concept formation, language development and sensory discrimination.

At the same time, we work closely with parents and families to form a partnership. Together, we work to help children become caring, skillful individuals and contributing members of the community. Above all, we recognize that each child is an individual with particular cultural and developmental needs, interests and talents. By recognizing this fact, we feel that each child will gain the pride and self-confidence needed to become a happy and productive individual.

Philosophy
At Wonder Years Learning Center LLC, we recognize that all children go through the same stages of growth and development, although on a very individual time schedule.

We believe in celebrating and encouraging the differences in children’s personalities and development as well as their cultural and language differences. Our program focuses on the development of skills in language and communication, cognition, creative expression, physical dexterity, as well as social and emotional interactions.

We embrace this philosophy in every aspect of the services we offer. At Wonder Years Learning Center LLC, we work closely with each family that comes to us, striving to satisfy their specific and unique needs. Our program is designed to encourage parents to be involved and to form a respectful working relationship with our staff.

By providing education and positive support for children and their parents, we hope to provide the best possible environment for our children at home and at school.

Goals At Wonder Years Learning Center LLC, our program's goals are: To provide a nurturing environment where affection and attention are given freely, and where a child's individual strengths and weaknesses are understood and accepted. To instill in children respect for materials and their environment as well as tolerance for all people in their surroundings. To strongly encourage social, emotional, cognitive and physical development through a challenging curriculum. To provide a safe and secure environment that makes learning fun.
